Apostle Suleman asks FG to ask El-Rufai to produce Fulani herdsmen he paid money to
The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, yesterday, asked the Federal Government to compel Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to produce Fulani herdsmen to whom money was paid so as to disabuse the minds of Nigerians that Christians are not the target of President Muhammadu’s administration.
Brace up for more Boko Haram attacks, ex-DSS Director warns
ABUJA— Following the growing incidence of renewed attacks by the displaced Boko Haram terrorists, a former Director in the Department of State Services, DSS, Mr. Mike Ejiofor, has charged Nigerians to brace up for more of such attacks. Speaking with Vanguard in Abuja, Ejiofor, who is a security consultant, said with the military’s announcement of the capture of the terrorists’ stronghold, Camp Zero in Sambisa forest, the sect was now in disarray, but more decisive in launching attacks on Nigerians as a way of proving its continued existence.

60-year-old actress, Jenifer Lewis sues gym after personal trainer 'lover' duped her of $50,000
Hollywood actress, Jenifer Lewis is suing a gym chain after one of their personal trainers, whom she had a personal relationship with, duped her out of $50,000. The actress claims the man turned out to be a con artist who had served time in jail. He apparently researched her on the internet before approaching her at a LA Fitness in West Los Angeles, and eventually talked her into a romantic relationship.

26 universities get R1.3B for registration of poor students in South Africa
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) on Tuesday, announced that 26 universities have been given R1.3bn for the registration fees of students who need financial assistance in the 2017 academic year. The financial aid is said to have covered over 160 000 students at the respective universities.
Three die in Port Harcourt following first rain of the year
Three people were confirmed dead following the first rain of the year which fell on Monday night in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The rain was reportedly very heavy and was accompanied by thunderstorms, bringing down telecommunication masts and billboards while it lasted. Some of the advertising boards and telecommunication masts landed on homes and properties, destroying them.
Government to penalise nurses threatening to kill Kenyans
The secretary of Health Cabinet in Kenya, Cleopha Mailu has announced that action will be taken against some alleged nurses threatening to kill patients. In screen shots that went viral on social media, one of the nurses made an outrageous threat to unplug a patient's life support machine for her fellow nurse to charge her phone, while another said she was going to give a patient a generous bilateral episiotomy.
