  • Dimitri Payet has told West Ham he wants to leave and is refusing to train with the squad, Slaven Bilic has revealed.
Exclusive pictures show Payet leaving the Hammers' Rush Green training ground this afternoon in his £208,000 Ferrari 458 Speciale.
The 29-year-old let Bilic know at the start of the January transfer window that he wants to be sold – despite having only signed a new five-year deal last February worth £125,000 a week.

Payet was in France last week and super-rich Paris Saint-Germain are among those to have been linked with the player.

A return to his former club Marseille could be on the cards, with the French club bankrolled by new owner Frank McCourt, a US billionaire. They are the leading club in the race to sign him at the moment and would jump at the chance to have him back.

It is understood Payet would like to go back to France for personal reasons.
Payet was at the Hammers' Rush Green training ground on Thursday - his £208,000-Ferrari 458 Speciale standing out in the car park among the other vehicles - but he was not taking part in drills with the first team.
Bilic added he is ‘angry’ about the attacker, who is understood to have a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for £15million if they are relegated.
‘Let’s get serious,’ Bilic said. ‘I’ve got something for you. I have a situation with a player. It is Dimitri Payet. He wants to leave.
‘We do not want to sell him. We have said hundreds of times that we do not want to sell our best players. We want to keep them.‘He is definitely one of them, our best player. That’s why we gave him such a long contract. I phoned him with that (information). He has refused to play for us.
‘So I have a team to manage and he is probably being tapped up by some clubs or whatever, which is usually in this part of the year in the transfer window.
‘Until he changes his attitude he is out of the team. He ain’t going to train with us. We ain’t going to sell him. Not whatsoever. It’s not a money issue.
‘We want to keep our best players and I expect him to come back and to show commitment and determination to the team. Like the team has shown to him.
